Kobe's sweet jumper? Dirk's unstoppable fade away? or do you like Paul Pierce's 4 point plays? Howard's monster slams? Lebron's fast break glides? who do you think has the sweetest go to moves in the NBA today? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one.

If I had an NBA team and I had to pick one player I would want to have the ball in the final seconds of the game, it would no doubt be Carmelo Anthony. I forgot the exact stats, but as of a couple years ago we was over 65% on game winning shots! He's definitely one of the best players in the league who can put up a large amount of points on any given night, and has proven that he can make the clutch shot when it matters most. Kobe and LeBron would be a close 2nd, but you can't argue with the numbers.

Melo is actually fifth in that category (just checked NBA.com) but he does have higher percentages than Lebron and Kobe. Granger has the highest percentage game winning shots last season. But I would have to choose who I give the ball to in the dying seconds, if I need I 2 I'll still look for Kobe, for a 3 I'd go Ray-Ray. It's really just that the Lakers hasn't been in too many "down the wire" games lately and they tend to win comfortably, but when the situations arise they never fail to hand him the ball, and he always comes through.

Well when I said close 2nd, I meant in order that which I would chose them to be on my team :)

Lebron James Vs Kobe Bryant for this one. I will always support Lebron as I have one of his shoes LoL. Oh well, from a basketball aspect I like James because he is more of a team player than Kobe. He has great all round skills and on form I don't think anyone can beat him. If only he had better team mates like when Jordan had, I'm sure he will be up there in the all time legends.

I disagree. Early in his career Kobe was indeed a ball hog. But if you have watched how his game has evolved, you will understand. In a team with Gasol, Odom and Bynum, how else would they all average double digits in scoring if Kobe was hogging the ball. He almost regularly has pass highlights in the NBA top 10 even. The only department I'd pick Lebron over Kobe is athleticism, anywhere else I pick Kobe 10 times out of 10. (That is how I view the Kobe vs. Lebron matchup and does not in anyway indicate that I am a Kobe fan/supporter. I just have to give credit to the guy. He's the best there is right now. He's better than Lebron.)

It depends on the situation, if my team needed a three I would want kobe. However if we just needed to get to the rim to draw a foul, nobody is stopping Lebron.

Kobe (as ironic as it might seem) has had the MOST number of missed game winning shots of all of the considered basketball clutch players. But will I give Kobe the ball on crunch time? Hell Yeah! I'd trust Kobe to take the shot more than I would trust Lebron or Melo for that matter. Why? He's been there so many times.
