how to increase my body weight?? im 180 cms tall, but i'm very lean and thin

hello people, i'm very worried about my body weigt... i'm 180 cms tall, but my body weight is 58kg...this below normal.. actually for this height i should have weight around 75 kg.. i would like to grow strong in my body like Rafel Nadal, he weighs 85 kg, i wanna increase my weight to 70 kg.. please suggest me, what should i do... i eat well, but i don't know the reason to increase my weight.. wat all the things that i should eat more to yield a good result.. thanks in advance.. happy mylotting..

You should eat a banana every night. Bananas make us fat yet healthy. You can try doing less exercises and more of eating

Try eating more Carbohydrates and fats than proteins for a week maybe you might gain 3 KGs. Like eat more bread and rice. The starch in the carbos can make you gain weight and potato chips is a pouplar way to get fat :)

Do you eat alot of bread?I heard this is what puts weight on you OR YOU COULD GO TO ONE OF THOSE VITAMIN HEALTH STORES AND MAYBE THEY COULD GIVE YOU SOME SUGGESSTIONS.

hi there gunagohan! :) i am also a 20 years old boy ..but i am lucky to have 70 kg. but i can say i am not so happy with it, i want to go to 80 kg. but for us it's very hard to do that. why? because this is our system..dunno. but what i heard from one friend whom gained some kg in the last months..the secret is to eat daily at the same time. so you have to make yourself a schedule, and always eat at that hours. ofcourse if you can have a snack between those times, it should only help you. so now, good luck with this. i hope you'll gain some kg :)

Just eat more carbohydrates and proteins, and have a midnight snack and drink milk and take your vitamins daily and have a good exercise.

you must have pulses and rice alon with fruits dont join gym it will ruin u over so try maintaining good diet i think your liver not functioning try some tonics for it also

I also had this problem. But.. I can say online one thing.. Make to your self help make pc max to work 45minutes per day. I promise you will gain much more height ;). (Basketball player)

I can help you out here. Pasta, potatoes, rice, beef, some chocolate... I am trying to do this without killing you so bare with me... Wheat Thins, popcorn (every now and then), ice cream (in moderation)... just eat!

Hi guna, So you are worried about your body weight and it seems your height is high that is why you looks slim. I think many are searching ways to reduce the weight and adding the weight is not a problem but shedding is really a problem. If you eat well you can gain your weight. I heard some methods and I am happy to share the same with you. Put some dates in water in the night and take the juice in the morning in empty stomach. Taking curd with sugar is also increases weight. Drinking milk with banana (putting banana into milk) is also help. Please try any of the tips and let me know whether it works or not.

Forst of all congratulations to you, nost people do not worry all of the other one:to lose weight. I think you should care about your eating habits,although eating a lot,but the types of food is also very important.In addition,you have to take more exercise,take part in more sports avtivities,just like play basketball,running,etc.,Which can change your muscles,so that they become strong and firm,and with the science and diet,should be able to have a healthy and strong body,but not obesity.

hi,gunagohan!don't worry,gaining weight is much easier than losing it.first,eat more food including fat.I hope you aren't a picky eater and aren't turned by fat.there are many ways to take in fat not too unsavourily and you can try,because fat is very effective means to increase your body weight.since you're so tall,I guess you are probably fond of sports,like basketball and the like.Then the second item maybe unacceptable but necessary,decreasing your activity level.and another easy to apply,sleeping more.in addition,I won't recommend you to gain your weight too fast.human body need time to adapt the change,any changes carried out to fast and violently are harmful to it,just like people shouldn't lose weight too sharply.

dear gunagohan, firstly, i envy you that you are slim. i want to be slim but i always think that i am a little fat. secondly, i don't know wether you like eat sweet food or not or junk food. eating chocolates or chips and things like this. i guess even if you eat much, but your body does not absord the nutrition. so you should check it in hospital and take some health care.

Sincerely your body weight is not a problem as soon you eat well. You must find a balance between consumption of food and consumption of energy in your body. If you eat in the evening you will gain weight. But if you need some sort of healthy gain you need to go to nutricionist

What? If I am in your shoes I will be very happy to maintain a slim body and would not have any problem of dieting. I have been trying to shed some weight for ages but never seems to be successful. I am not a big eater but a little excess of food intake will make my body balloon out. In your case, you should eat more to see instant result to increase your body weight. But as you age, the pounds will keep adding up. Just be patient and learn to eat healthily.

Well I used to have your problem of being under weight, I eventually started gaining wieght through just not exercising eating junk foods, and things like that, now I am 48 I am 176 cms and weigh 94 kgs, so my problem now is the opposite, I now want to reduce my weight. So I think what I would tell you is gaining weight is not such a great thing, maybe later you'll wish you didn't have so much weight.

Hello,gunagohan.I have the same trouble as you.I am 181 cms tall while I weigh 65kg.Though not very thin,I still feel that I should be stronger and look more healthier.From my point of view,some people just don't on weight no matter how much they eat because of thier gene.I myself am kind of these kind of people.However,there are some methods to improve this situation,such as body exercise.I would play basketball or go jogging from time to time and this will help.

I'm too in you state... My BMI also says that I'm below normal... The only way is to eat high protein foods and drinking more water and exercises... I've started to do these thing daily and I hope it will give good results.... You can also try this my friend because this is the right age to build our health to with stand in our older ages. Join a gym if possible...

I guess nowadays, I have met a similiar situation with you. I am 176 cms tall, but I amm very lean and weedy. Almost everyday, I will spend some time on my body weight because all my friends and family think me as a thin boy. But you see, it is next to impossible for me to increase my body weight. Everyday, I have to face lots of work under big stress, which is harmful to my health. What's worse, I tend to spend all my spare time on the Internet on the weekend and I have to suffer the harm from computer radiation. If I can give you some advices, you'd better eat more and do some necessary exercises to build your body. At the same time, remember to relax your mind and learn to enjoy the life.

yeah thanks for your response... first have to increase weight, then exercise will build the body structure, i went to a GYM, coach asked me to increase weight and come to do exercises
