Are you conscious with your weight?

My father gives importance to our daily diet. It's okay to gain some fats, but he doesn't approve too much eating habit. He never wants us to become obese. His concern is that we will become prone to lifestyle diseases if we don't watch what we eat. We never complain because we know it's a fact that we can't deny. My mother is getting older, but I tell you, she's still glamorous. There must always be something about staying slim and healthy.

Your father is right that being obese can lead to many serious health problems, especially later on in life. I believe that exercise is as important as eating a healthy diet so I try to do both. I've weighed about the same for over 10 years and, since I'm over 50, I guess that's pretty good.

i find, notice, that in some families this is like a code. that would bother me. my beauty is my busness. although if my health is in danger it's expected that my family steps in. this belief of mine has been ruling me through my life. that beauty is a personal thing and that a standard constantly pushed is not for me. i rebel against such things. control is an issue.
