Oh boy, I am having one of those days when you just cant focus and it seems like my brain just isn't working today!! I have been up since early this morning, got my son to school ran to the bank and even to a store. I got home and started to clean and finally got sometime to get on the computer but although the day is only at noon/lunchtime here for me it seems like everything today has been a hard task to do!! Do you have days like this...has it happened recently?? What do you do when this happens?? I really haven't had a day like this in a long time...

I think everyone does and there isnt much you can do about it .Personally for me I just go with the flow and let it take me,well there is not much else you can do.I think you will find that this is just a passing phase and before you know it you will be right back at your focused self.Great discussion

Hi dear! It happens sometimes with everybody that one feels that everything is going out of hands or too many things are getting clustered in the brain. It happens with me also, when there are many tasks to be performed and all need urgent attention, I also get confused and it appears to me that my mind has stopped working. Please do not worry much soon you will get over it.

Hi there! Yes, going for some quick shower or a cup of coffee and doing something to make ourselves cheerful does help in recharging our batteries.

that is so true...it just seems to happen when there is so much going on around you and then before you know it, your brain has just froze up on you!! ...but I tried to not do much, then took a shower and focused on me for a bit, that kind of recharged me and by the end of the day I felt back to normal again!! thanks for the response and have a great day!

brain stops working - when I am busy with my work under big stress, then suddenly, I find that my brain seems like it stops working for a while.
I have met such a situation for many times and it is obvious that all people may have similar experience. Sometimes, when I am busy with my work under big stress, then suddenly, I find that my brain seems like it stops working for a while. At that time, I seldom do anything but to stay there in a trance. Every time, when I meet such a bad situation, then I will tend to go out for a walk or to have a quiet rest. If the situation recover to the normal, then I will continue my work without any hesitation. It is next to impossible for me to meet such a situation for the whole day because I have to do lots of works everyday.

Yes, I agree, if you can walk away and stop thinking for a bit... just give yourself a 10 minute recharge ...sometimes that really helps out alot and then we can get back to what we were doing!! thanks for the response and have a great day!

Hi! That also happen to me sometimes. These are the days when i dont feel like doing anything though i know that there are plenty of things to do waiting for me. Sometimes it is nice to just stare blankly on a wall with nothing in mind. I think our brain wants to relax too. Dont you think moments like this tells us to stop and recharge. We are humans that gets tired and drained so we should listen to our body and relax for a while.

I do agree, it is our bodies way of telling us to slow down and recharge...and that is exactly what I did and things were back to normal by the end of the day...which is what people should do when this happens. thanks for the response and have a great day!!

Yeah, I know how it feels, when you glance down your clock and it ticks a few minutes before your end-of-shift and there's really nothing you can write down on your report, either my task was just so hard and I can't figure it out or I just woke up with my head filled of worries for the day. I hate it as much as I think it's OK once in a while, we're just human anyway, but it feels bad when I think of how much time I've wasted doing nothing and my paycheck does not reflect it.

bookreadermom 08 hi yes this whole weeked had been the days from hell I only made 62 cents and that was hard earned.for every comment and response that did go through, Ihad written thirty or forty that foxfire just sat and kept saying waiting for mylot.com. they were not slow, they just did not load at all. so had to go back to the s cratchy but working Internet Explorer just to be able to mylot again. I finally decided something was badly wrong and it was not mylot as internet explorer did load but slowly but it still did load so i could actually mylot again.

Yes, I have the days totally occupied but at a loss what I should do first. I have to calm down and arrange the schedule clearly. After that, I can finish the tasks in time. But it is too tired to have so much task in a day.

oh, isnt that the truth!! when we dont focus so much on ourselves and our health then things seem to take a toll on us and our bodies make us slow down and recharge. that helped me out yesterday, I had to slow down and recharge!! thanks for the response and have a great day!

We all have rough days but it does not happen eveyday for which I am grateful. In times like this, it is best to relax. Free your mind of all worries and relax your mind and body, if possible take a nap. I like to plan my day every morning, this helps you save time when doing things

Yeah i know this very well, doing too much thing in too short time. This will absorbed all your energy and at the end of the day you can entered a state of lethargy. All you have to do is to plan your day with the various activities and put one hour in your timetable as resting time. This will refresh you up and you will be ready to tackle the next activity on your time table. Good luck. JDM
