I have to, I can't rely on my cell. I am a college student that is obsessed with never being late. I can't stand to be late for class or work and its so bad that if I know I will be late to class I wont go (I wont interrupt my professors). If Im going to be late for work, even two minutes, I call my job and let them know and stay late to make up for it (Its only happened twice my whole life so far). But, while I am in school or at work, I cant sneak my phone out to see how many minutes are left, but i can glance at my wrist without being as obvious and without getting into trouble.

I never wear a watch because my cell phone has a clock on it. I had never been a fan of watches, but before cell phones I would wear one. I used to bring a calculator with me when I went shopping, but now that my husband's cell phone has a calculator on it we use that instead.

I don't think that the number of people who wear watches will decrease significantly because of cell phones. Watches are also accessories or fashion items. I wear a watch everyday and I don't think I'll stop wearing one just because I have a cell phone.

yes i did wear a watch sometime ago, i like watches and have bought lots of them before. but nowadays i don't wear watches, my last watch was a rolex, it's all gathering dust in a side drawer. as you have pointed out, with multi-function devices these days, the need does not arise. thank you.
