Who else can't wait for thanksgiving?! I know I can't. just thinking about all that good food is making me hungry right now lol i love thanksgiving. I love eating!! What do you have for thanksgiving? where are you going? we usually have a turkey and a ham with green beans, mash potatoes and gravy, rolls, mac and cheese, stuffing, usually a casserole of some kind and sometimes we make yellow rice and chicken. (mine and my cousins favorite) cranberry stuff, pies, puddings, cheese cake, and cookies!!!! it's all so good. come the end of the day i am stuffed and dead tired from all that eating. mmmmmmm I CAN'T WAIT! what about you?

wish I could say I couldn't wait, but I can. I still have to get a jump on the Christmas shopping. Now, the food, I love. But most of it isn't great for my diet. So I know I will do myself in. Good for the soul and happy tummy, but bad for everything else! lol

Well my husband has that day off so most likely we will be going to his side of the family and then my dad's side of the family's house. I am not for certain though as he has to work really early. The typical meal is Turkey, Ham, Macaroni, Green Beans, Deviled Eggs, Spinach, Biscuits... Ambrosia is another thing in the past that was served at my grandparents, but she no longer does thanksgiving or christmas.

My goodness... I'm drooling just reading what you're having! I think Thanksgiving is my most favorite meal of the year. We always have turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, with asparagus, black and green olives and stuffed celery. It's almost time for bed, but now I'm hungry! Bring on Thanksgiving!

I'm going to my Dad's for Thanksgiving, as my kids are 1800 miles away. Dad and my stepmom are such good cooks, it's better than eating at a restaurant anytime I visit! I like the green bean casserole, of course, but we never had mac and cheese! One Thanksgiving we wanted to be different. I was still married and the kids were about 7 and 8. We used my bread machine to make pizza dough and the four of us each made ourselves a pizza. That was a very fun Thanksgiving!

I do love Thanksgiving Day, it is my favorite holiday... most would say Christmas but for me that day is very stressful, and you have to have everything ready for that day ahead of time...but Thanksgiving is all about the food, the cooking, the eating and the relaxing that day... and the football game on the tv. I dont like the fact that cold weather comes along with it, but hey it is all part of the season!! so yeah, I cant wait either!!! Happy mylotting!!

Sameroad- Wow, I love the picture! We do a lot of the traditional dishes: turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe pie, pumpkin pie, corn, etc. We actually celebrate it as the Day of Mourning because of our family roots, but the foods are all the same and the thoughts are to remember the ancestors, and speak out for unity in America and remember what occured to our ancestors without negativity on those who were ignorant but reminding people of what really occured.
