Don't you know that listening to music while you are pregnant is best for babies? I can attest to that because when I was pregnant with my eldest baby I always listen to music and even put my stomach near to the radio or speaker. And I discovered or observed from the early years of my child that she liked music and even sing along with it. maybe she can be a singer in the future. I hope so. Listening to music really helps stimulate the development of the child inside the womb because even if they are inside they can still the hear the sounds outside.

I also know this to be true. My husband neice listen to music alot when she was pregnant. And like you said the little girl loves music. She is now 9 years old and has a beautiful voice on her. She goes around singing all the time. I think that she might turn out to be a singer someday too. Have a nice day and keep smiling.

Thanks for the response. Yes my daughter who is 6 year old now loves music and she likes to sing and imitate songs. So it is really good to listen music while pregnant. She can be a singer someday I hope so. What the parents can do now is to support their talent.

Oh yes...The parents need to see the talent that any child has and act on it and encourage them to continue.

Yes you are correct. Parents should support the skills, abilities and talents of their children. Take time to listen to your child and you will be amazed of their hidden talents. Have a nice day to you.

I am currently pregnant and listen to classical music with my pregnant belly. Many classical artists like Bach are proven to increase the intelligence of your baby when born. You can put headphones on your belly. Around the 5th month your baby is actually able to start hearing words. I do also try to keep away from music that would not be beneficial for my baby like heavy metal, rap, etc because I do not want to influence him or her to learn bad words. I also would wonder if hearing alot of music or lyrics more specifically, would help the baby to learn to talk earlier when out of the womb.

You are doing right. Listening to music while pregnant can help the baby inside the womb. Even if they are inside they can feel and hear the sounds outside. That is why it is also good to talk to him/her anything that you want to talk. With regards to what you said if he can learn to talk earlier if he is exposed to music while inside the womb, it might be possible because the brain of the baby is already stimulated and he is used to hear sounds maybe it can help him talk earlier than the usual.

I listened to music when I was pregnant. My toddler son loves music. He enjoys hearing people sing. He has his own drum, keyboard and triangle. My baby daughter has a bell and a shaker. She is young but already I notice she is keen on music. I think that it must engage the brain of a baby in the womb when he or she hears music. Music can be relaxing or exciting. I listened to Thriller because it is my favorite tune. I liked listening to some more gentle tunes too.

yes, I did this with all of my children and they are all music lovers. I listen to a lot of music anyway so it is hard to say whether or not they just got accustomed to it after they were born or while they were still inside me. They say the baby can hear before it is born and it makes sense to me. I actually had a pet guinea pig when pregnant for my 4th child. The guinea pig made noise all night long. When my daughter was born she made that same sound. It was difficult at times to distinguish between her and the animal. It was pretty cute and confirmed for me that yes...they can hear before they are born.

Congratulation you did well as a mother. Thanks for sharing your your experiences I hope those mother to be to do the same as sid556 is doing. Nothing will be gone if you just try it, instead you are nurturing your child as early as inside the womb. I salute you for doing so. Have a blessed day ahead.

Right! music is best for babies when you are pregnant, although the baby is in your womb but they hear the sound of the music and it will reflect to the babies when they are already in this world.

You're correct babies inside the womb of their mother can already hear the sounds outside. It is also advisable to talk to your child so that they can feel that they are love by you and when they are already outside they will be able to recognize your voice easily. Thanks for taking time. Have a nice day.

I believe in that too. There has been studies that could somehow prove that. Some also says that classical music especially from Bethoven, Bach and other genius pianist can somehow stimulate the development of the baby's mind inside. That the baby will become intelligent or witty when he / she grows up.

Yes that is really true. Music can stimulate the brain of the babies while he is still inside the womb. Good choice of music like instrumental, like what you've mention. That is very suitable for babies. It may not be that intelligent but they are excelling babies when they grow up.

I think it is also most beneficial if the music being listened to is classical music. I think I read somewhere that classical music for babies will make them smarter. I tried to do this with my kids, but I still have to realize if they are indeed smart. My first born seem to be good at math, so it is a good sign.
