wat u thk of bands like sepultura and trivium

What about Throwdowns new album? Sounds like the album Pantera SHOULD have produced. Trivium are great, but pretty much just reinventing metallica. I like them but ive heard it before... Sepultura are just brutal, Max made sepultura, and soulfly, without Max neither would have been as great. Max's newest band 'The Cavalera Conspiricy' kind of blows both of them out of the water though. Brutal as metal as it should be, facepeeling!

Sepultura was better with Max singing. Derrick Greene sucks big time. As for Trivium I like their current musical direction as they are now adding some old school metal in their sound

Sepultura is awesome. They were better with Max. I don't really care for Trivium too much. They get on my nerves after awhile.

If you say Max Cavalera Sepultura I'm for it but present day Sepultura? I choose Trivium.

First of all they have nothing in common! Secondly Sepultura is thrash metal, Trivium is metalcore! So go figure out the rest ;)

I too liked Sepultura a lot more when they had Max. I don't ever really listen to their new stuff very much. I also like Trivium, but unlike a lot of my friends, I like their new CD more than their old ones. Their old ones had some great guitar and stuff, and I am a big fan of screaming vocals and that kind of thing, but they just sounded like every other metalcore band when they screamed all the time. I like the new vocal style a lot more. It kind of reminds me of Metallica a little bit or maybe old Testament.
