are we here for only earning cents through our reputation?

you know i dont hate what you like about but i think the mylot is about discussion however big we may become but the thing is that if we will become money centred then how will the job go you know in that discussion i exited coz people started putting up the point of money may be i am not as good as you in understanding nor do i have experience like you you belong to my father's age and in India we respect our elders a lot i want to know why sir you so deperately want money even if we earned money all will go into vain when we die all our reputation will go but if we do good in enjoying what we write and help others and have self satisfaction in what we have got we will be lot more hgappier being content is the biggest happiness and ia m in such small age and hope you please consider this fact race is not the solution of every problem you will win mylot by earning reputation but still you wont be content and you would need more why worry about reputation you are good you know you are who ever reads you know about this then whom you want toi show that you are good you are the best sorry if i had said too much but i have written what i felt right please consider this once i am not like others i am simply different in approachh

Well I understand what you say but you missed my point. I said most of us start for the money but this is secondary when we get into it and start to meet friends. Please don't presume anyone is here desperate for money as it hardly pays enough for anyone to here at all, though of course in some countries a dollar is much more important from here as it has much greater purchasing power. I have a friend here from Indonesia where each dollar earned here makes a difference and can contribute to the household, but likewise he is proud to have a good reputation here. Without the money here though he could not afford to be here as would need to fill those hours with some other way of making money, despite already having a full time job. Eeeech, your father's age group. I am only a year older than you, my age is a glitch.
