If you are someone who has never read the Bible or if you believe that there is nothing that is good in it, I suggest that you read the teachings of Jesus in Matthew chapters 5,6 and 7.These three chapters make up what is commonly called The Sermon on The Mount, and was described by Mahatma Gandhi as the greast teachings the world has ever seen. I don't think that the majority of Christians pay enough attention to this and perhaps all Christian churches should decide to encourage their followers to read and meditate upon it every day. I think that these teachings speak for themselves.

Hi cher, The four gospels record the life and teachings of Christ, the first gospel to be written was Mark. John's gospel was written much later. If you want the the best teaching of Christ, it is to be found in here in the sermon on the mount, Matthew 5,6 and 7. It depends on what you are looking for. Blessings.

Hello Pose. I have an English Bible, but I have not spent time reading it yet. I read for only a few of the front pages. Then I stopped going reading it as there were too many news words that I don't understand. I wish my English were half as good as a native English speaker in a few more years and enlarge my vocabulary before I can enjoy more of the reading sometime. Happy posting, Pose.
