Mosquitoes transmits many kinds of diseases, the most dreaded one is the malaria and dengue in tropical countries. HIV can be transmitted only from human to human or through blood transfusion. Thank GOD, mosquitoes don't have the capability to be transmitted by them. I know that I read this somewhere else that the reason for this is that HIV virus can only live for about 2-6 minutes outside its human host. But what about blood transfusion? you may ask. I really don't know. But, what if the HIV virus have develop a new strain that could live outside its host and can be transmitted by mosquitoes? That would be scary! What do you think?
