Its a lot cooler outside and we can't do the stuff that we usually do, like going to the beach or park... Have BBQ's and things of that source... I need to have some more activities for our little family.. Does anyone have some suggestions?

It's not cold here yet (where do you live?...I should know this since you are my BFF and all lol) but I have the same problem, it gets boring going to the park over and over. Today I'm taking my kids to a museum that has a really cool kids area and it's free on Thursdays =) And when they get home from school we are gonna get the play-doh out...gosh I really hate that stuff though!! I love to do crafts so I get things together for my kids so they can make things, painting, we make cards for family members that we don't see very often and we do the wood crafts at our local Home Depot & Lowes on the weekends so we always have something fun to paint and decorate!

My kids love the museum here because they have a kids area with all kinds of scientific stuff, dress clothes and a stage so they can put on a show, all kinds of neat things!! I live in Texas =( The Home Depot crafts are kinda hard, is your daughter 4? My son is and he can do some of the things but of course he gets upset easily too so it isn't always a fun experience but I like it cause they get a drink and snack and a toy thay can play with later on!! And we usually end up painting whatever they made so that is another craft for us to do at home!! lol my kids have the same play-doh thing and I just hate the stuff, they do have alot of fun with it but I honestly don't let them play with it very often because it is such a mess!!

Well... Its not that cold.. But cold enough for my daughter to start complaining! I live in Chicago? You? Girl talk about Play-doh! My daughter has the big canister with a lot of different moldings! I would like take my daughter to the museum, you think that she might like it? I tried the home depot thing, a few weeks ago, lets just say that she got upset when she couldn't do everything her way! lol... You know, you did give me an idea, my daughter likes to color and draw, I think that I am going to buy some paint! That sounds like fun! Where do you live? Oh my, if you do live in Chicago, we are so going to have to meet up! lol..

its all according to where ya live, if your up north you can get the kids into skiing, give me a state and i can tell ya better. you can still eat off the grill year round when i lived up north we bbq'd all year long, our neighbors thought we were crazy but who cares, just bring the food indoors and eat it.

Hey Max! Well I live in Illinois! We are planning to go on a ski trip this winter but I don't know if a two year old would like that all that much! lol.. We do that during the winter too! But it takes the fun out of being outside! I love BBQ food! Just the thought makes my heart melt! lol!

If there are hills by you or parks with some small knool"s get a truck tire tube the one's that go on construction dump trucks that should keep a 2 year old happy in the snow, just something a little different than riding a sleigh.
