I think that everyone agrees that fruits are more healthy for a person than sweets, which are mostly starch, fats, and sugar with some kind of flavoring. Sometimes fruits are used as that flavoring. That's to fool us into th inking we are eating healthy. I'm not being fooled. I know full well that chocolate brownie with the chocolate icing is not good for me, but, oh, does it taste delicious!

hi mylot friends, Fruits are good to the health. We should add the fruits in our diet daily. Fruits are amongst the first food items known to human beings. In fact, They have been in existence since the inception of mankind (even Adam and Eve ate apple-the 'forbidden fruit!'). In many religions, fruits have been given the status of the 'food of Gods'. Fruits, whether fresh or dried, have always formed a part of the staple diet of human beings. The reason for this is that they are rich in nutrients and provide some of the essential minerals, vitamins, and the lik, to our body. Apart from that, they also help inm curing a number of diseases. In the following lines, We have listed the benefits of having fruits in your diet. Fruits, whether taken as a whole or in the form of juice, have a hydrating effect when eaten by an individual. They replenish water, apart from numerous nutrients, in the body. In fact, the water absorbed by a person, in the form of fruit juices, has additional benefits of providing sugar and essential minerals. Most of the fruits are rich in potassium, magnesium and sodium. These nutrients act as a diuretic and dieresis, increasing the frequency of passing urine. This frequency results in a lower urine density, which ultimately speeds up the process of elimination of nitrogenous waste and chlorides from the body. Fruits are rich in fiber, which is very essential for the smooth passage of the food in the body, produce alkaline carbonates. This leads to alkalination of the fluids and, in turn, promotion of intestinal elimination. In other words, regular consumption of fruits helps the body stay free of toxic wastes. All the fruits contain carbohydrates, mainly in the form of sugar, dextrin and acids. These types of carbohydrates getr digested by the body very easily and are also absorbed quickly. This makes fruits extremely good for sick and invalids, as a quick source of energy. Enjoy bye take care

I like sweets more (cake, chocolate, icecream...etc.) but I like them to always go with fruits. Like fruits dipped in chocolate fondue, fruit-flavored yoghurt ice cream, and raspberry or any fruit-topped cheesecake.

Hi there Ice Smile. I know fruits (and vegetables) are quite good for health, and i try to eat from time to time - occasionally i even make natural juice out of a combination of: coconut, orange, grapefruit, lemon + honey - it's delicious. But i must admit that i eat more sweets (chocolate) than fruits though...

I like them both, and prefer one over the other depending on the time and my mood. If I've been good about working out and feel really energetic, I usually prefer fruit. However, if I'm feeling lazy or emotional, I prefer sweets instead. If I'm feeling really indulgent, maybe I'll even have both!

I go for the sweets! I know it is not healty, but I like bready, crusty, sweets. A crusty pie, or a crusty muffin top, or even a cookie. If it is warm, or just fresh out of the oven. Hmmmm Or even just warm bread, toasted, with melting butter on top. Hmmmm

I do like fruit a lot, and usually can consider a fruit-dish as dessert. My favorite 'treat' fruits are strawberries, blackberries, mangos, pears, plums, nectarines, red grapes, watermelon, cantelope, honey dew melon, cherries, passion fruit, papaya, and probably a few others I can't think of right now. Pineapple is good when it's been grilled with a brown sugar glaze. Of course, I really wouldn't pass up regular candy, either!
