Mormon Church Supports Gay Rights Cause

Hi kevinsharris, Welcome to myLot and I hope that you will enjoy your stay here and make both some friends and money. This is a good site and although no one makes a lot of money, it can be a fun place to be and it really does pay. Now to your discussion, I'm delighted that the Mormon church has elected to support this legislation. At least it shows that they have some compassion, if nothing else. I would expect them to oppose gay marriage just as other fundamentalist churches do. I understand that they still think that being Gay is a choice, and again like other fundamentalists, send young people people who admit to being gay of to camps where they try to un-gay them. This would be funny if it didn't do so much harm to the many young involved. The only reason anyone gets away with it is because it's done in the name of religion and churches have so much power. Where is the link? Until i see this article I wont believe it because it sounds ridiculous. The Mormon church would not, and based on their theology, should not support gay marriage.
