Do you sign up under people's referrals?

I was wondering about this because I don't think anything of it. I sign up via the link that led me to a program. However, I've noticed activity from my blog when people clicked on the referral link and I'd see them already joined up but my account would not reflect them as my referrals. I know these people (a matter of deduction and conclusion with sitemeter's help) and I wondered why they wouldn't want to sign up under my referral. Is it because they don't want me earning off of their joining? I guess that's their business, but I'm still curious.

I'm not sure if I understood you, but you're not getting somebody else's money. That's your own money, a commission for something you did... Really, you're not taking away somebody else's money. Thanks for the reply. :)

I do sign up under other people. I don't mind it. I mean, it doesn't affect my earnings and someone can benefit, too. I think a lot of people remove the referral ID in case where they can. I think that's selfish. I know what you mean because I've experienced the same.

Come to think of it, it is rather selfish. Like I said, it's just a matter of looking at things. You'd probably want to tip an informant, right (I mean, if you were a detective or something, lol)? And in other things, you wouldn't begrudge an agent or a salesman his commission, right? But I guess people have different ways of looking at things. Thanks for the reply. :)

Well, I know personally for me, I have often checked out programs a person might be doing, but unless I tend to know the person a little bit like thru here, etc. I usually will not really bother signing up for it unless it really looks like a Great site as well. But a lot of times since I am limited to time even if I look at something interesting I either bookmark it for later, or hope one of my friends online or in here will be doing that program so I can ask more questions for sure.

This is common happen, many people are refuse to sign up other the referrer, they always remove the referrals link when they sign up. This happen because they dont want to earn for the referrer. And this kind of case always happen, so some of the member are offering commission return to the referral to sign up under their name

That explains a lot of the tasks on here, lol. I guess that would be a natural reaction, to not want to earn for other people - like why should somebody else benefit from their work? Thanks for responding. :)
