I like having both since they're loyal to their masters. I have 2 cats and 3 dogs and they get along very well. I love it whenever my cats rub their bodies at my leg or feet. They're very affectionate and I love it when I hear them purr. I also love dogs since they're very playful. Who could resist those eyes everytime they long for affection? I just can't help but hug them every time they do that.

A cat is the only animal that will curl up in your lap and purr. Cats provide wonderful companionship. They don't wake you up barking at a squirrel in the next county. They are soft and warm. They don't need to go outside in the snow and rain. They provide hours of entertainment when they play, chasing toys, rabbit kicking toys. I couldn't sleep without my Josie purring next to me. I wouldn't trade any of my four cats for anyone or anypet or anything.

Hi,
I don´t like cats. They are wild animals that stay with you as long as you give them something. It reminds me of some of the worst traits of human beings. On the other hand, dog are faithful creatures. And they are very intelligent. At least my Lola is. She even knows when she has done something wrong and puts a guilty face even if she´s a little more than a puppy.
She is a giant German Shepherd. Since I have her, I have to let my mother in through the garage. Lola might kill her out of love (my mom is an 85 frail woman).

I love cats!
We've been taking care of a cat for 9 months and last Thursday he went out to walk for a while but he never returned home until now. I think he was eaten by people who usually look for cats for their food. It really hurts to know he is gone now.
I miss him so much because he's been a family to us. He is the best cat I've ever known.
It's hard to accept what happened, but I have to move on with my life without him.
I'm so sad right now and I've been crying for 3 nights now.

well in my opinion I like to have a bull terrier very fierce in guarding the house and belongings but gentle on its master. cats anyway are very charismatic but it has smell.

Hello,
I have a dog and I'm not really sure what the plus point of owning a cat is ?
My dog does best at the night security, he's a lab but I took much pain in his training, even got bit so many times, lol
So yes, my choice currently would be a dog, a cat wouldn't hurt though.

I like cats. Because they do not bark and not produce any high noise.

I have a cat. I have almost always had a cat in my life. i never had a dog. Not that I hate dogs, though one nearly killed me when I was one years old. I did for a long time have a bit of a fear of large dogs but not much anymore. But I see that there are people who are dog people and people who are cat people all the way down the family tree. All my family had cats, never dogs. So cat person here. HEHE
