what bites me at night?

Italy

I'm going MAD. Every day goes well and fine, then I go to sleep and when I wake up I am full of bites but just in my head, between the hair. I have checked for fleas or similar things but there's nothing, there is a dog in the house but she's fleas-free too, there's really nothing on my head, but I wake up at morning with bites that itch like hell, so that must be something that comes, bites and goes. I have sprayed everything with mosquito spray, it didn't work. I have extra cleaned everything, it didn't work and I didn't even find anything. I changed pillow but didn't work. I don't know what to do anymore!! I don't know what it is!!

It might be bedbugs which are hard to get rid of. Try flipping over your bed and sleep fir another night and observer if you are still in the same state. Or you might wanna visit a doctor as he can tell you if you have any allergies to the materials/chemicals in the bed. Alternatively, try to change your pillow cover, or pillow

Hey, thanks for your answer, now thinking about it, maybe it's not bedbugs because it's only me, the other two beds don't seem affected and they're close enough to share an infestation, if there was. Maybe it's an allergy, should check that.

I'm pretty sure it couldn't be bed bugs, because they usually bite parts of your body that are not covered, and not usually the head. Like if you have on a short sleeve shirt, they would bite the parts of your hands and arms that were sticking out and above the covers. They may also bite you on the face, but not where your hair is covering your skin. So, I think you are alright with that one. I hope you have figured this out by now, as I see it was started a few days back. Or maybe it has just gone away. Sometimes odd things like this happen to me for no reason, and then they go away without me ever figuring out what they were.

I would get checked out by a doctor. It may be hives not bites. There could be something chemcially wrong with you that is causing the hives.

Ouch, now thinking about it, I'm the only one in the house being bothered by that. The other two people living with me and the dog don't seem bitten at all...then maybe it's not bites but hives...I didn't think about that.

Maybe that's not in the budget but I still can go to my GP if I'm left without options, I don't trust doctors much, lol.

Should check that too, I think if it's not an allergy it must be something crawling, not flying because to get between my hair it mush crawl! Thanks for your answer too!
