When I asked my friends, what is the thing that make you happy? There were so many answers. Some would say money, friends, love, health etc. Then I asked them again, can you still be happy if you don't have a good health? They can hardly answer me. However, in my opinion, it is almost impossible for someone to be happy without a good health because illness can makes people suffer and can hardly feel happy. What do you think?

In some reason some are happy some are not for they cannot do something normal like other healthy people do but its only up to them if they will make them pull them down.

Happiness is a mindset. My Uncle just had a collapsed lung and now he needs a nebulizer and oxygen to breathe. Nonetheless, he says he still wants to live. In his own words: "It doesn't matter even if I am just sitting down every day. I am happy as long as I am alive." - And I do think he really means what he says. Some people are sick and they manage to be happy nonetheless. It's harder to be happy when you're sick of course but again, it's a mindset, too.

My health is not good but I can honestly say that I am happy. I have conditions that cause pain throughout my body every day. I can reduce the pain with medications but it is never gone. When I first got sick (fibromyalgia), I was terribly unhappy. I had a hard time coming to terms with it and accepting it as the way my life would be from that point on. Now, I've been able to accept this as my life. I have pain. I have pain everyday. I can choose to be unhappy for the rest of my life or I can choose to be happy, despite the pain. I choose to be happy. There is nothing I can do about my health aside from what I am already doing but I can make sure that the rest of my life is spent doing all that I am able. I've learned to accept my limitations and work around them. So, yes, I am happy.

According to the saying that "health is wealth". So if you have an illness you will not be totally happy. First you can't do all the things you want. You cant earn money. You cant had a lot of friends and happenings. So for me health is the best factor or way to be happy.

how can you be happy if you are sick? unless you are on the deathrow and willing to die as soon as possible because you do not want to feel the pain and seeing your family grieve in sorrow, why not?
