Comic books: Where do you prefer to get them?

Do you prefer to get them from people online, from trading with friends, from the big book stores like Barnes and Noble and Borders, the places like Half Price Books, actual comic book stores, or is there another way you acquire them? I know you can get them from every place, but what do you think you have the best experience with, when purchasing them (or trading them)?

The comic book shop is where I buy mine. Sometimes on the internet, but that is usually from the individual creators for small press and mini comics. I haven't traded comics since I was a kid.

I don't buy comics because I read some of the old ones online but lately, I noticed that Amazon is selling digital comics for about 0.98. Some are classics, too. Check out their kindle library.
