Is the economy going to affect your Christmas shopping this year?

I know it is going to affect our Christmas budget this year. We are going to be making more presents and paying out a lot less for things we want to buy. Our money situation is going to demand it. But I don't think this is a bad thing. Christmas is supposed to be about who you love not how much you spend. I would rather drink hot chocolate with my family and watch a movie than run around like a crazy person trying to find the perfect and expensive gift. Spend your time with me not your money on me and I will be happy.

My husband and I don't have a budget for Christmas. We aren't going to buy things for everyone, just for certain people. That being said, we already know what we're going to get everyone, including each other, so we're good to go. We got a nice payout from mylot and that alone will pay for two of the presents we're going to get!
