i am looking to buy a new TV and want to ge a 52 inch HDTV. i have been looking at LCD and the new LED TV's and was wondering if anyone has one of the new LED TV's? are they worth the extra $$$$ or is it best to stick with a cheaper LCD?

I think you can go for LCD TV's..... You can trust on it as it has a good market now a days.. Even i am going to buy a LCD TV... We have been using a Sony TV for last 10 years.. We never faced any problem with it... Now there is a problem with picture tube... And again we are going with Sony Brand.. It gives good picture quality and enough options.. It supports USB playback, has HDMI ports[for connecting it to the PC] and a very high motionflow of 240Hz

LED TV is new in the market so we only have few reviews on it but the interesting with this new kind of tv technology is, it has mega contrast and a screen resolutin of 1920 x 1080 pixel, the brightness is about 450cd/m2 and most LED tv has digital comb fiber and they said this LED tv is more eco-friendly..
