hey, i am 19 and was wondering if any one know some good ways to get rid of belly fat, i am 5'9 1/2' 200lbs. actually i am not really fat at all but i do have a little on my belly that needs to go. i run, do sit-ups, curl-ups and allthe other exercises. it is been really paying off everywehre else but my belly is still looking weird, i dont eat any more than i have had before. i dont eat fattening foods, i exercise almost everyday or every other day. it seems that in the past months, while i have been doing ab exericise, my stomach area looks bigger, not smaller , i keep growing out of my pant sizes, but it looks like fat when i am not changing my diet or exercise routine. what can i do does anyone have any suggestions? thanks for helping me~~

Keep going on with your exercise routine. It takes time to see real results but as long as you stay focused, it will come. Stick to a healthy diet, as well, in addition to going the exercise.

A friend of mine walks alot as well as drinks water instead of anything with sugar in and she has lost alot of weight, but it has made her belly hang like with loose skin.I was told sit ups are good as they tighten the tummy mussels and they are easy to do as well as can be done in the morning as well as at night.

I read an article about loosing the abs at exercise.about.com..Hope it helps you: The first step to losing body fat is changing your diet. Eat more often. Eating several small meals throughout the day will boost your metabolism and help you burn more calories. Eat Fewer Calories. Create a mild caloric deficit by monitoring your portion sizes and making sure you're eating less than you're burning. It's easier to eat less calories if you fill up on high fiber foods and make sure your meals are balanced between carbs (about 50-60%), protein (about 20-30%) and fat (about 20-30%). Drink More Water. Sometimes hunger pangs are actually your body's plea for water. Start an Exercise Routine Once you've reduced your calorie intake, its time to start working out. Diet without exercise will lead to some weight loss, but at some point you'll reach a plateau. Exercise can get you past plateaus while preserving your muscle mass. Your program should include: 3-5 days of cardio a week for 30 to 45 minutes in your THR zone. Any cardio will do--doing what you like will make workouts more fun Weight training that targets ALL of your muscle groups 2-3 non-consecutive days a week, abs included (don't work them everyday!) Stretching after your workouts for flexibility and relaxation Warm ups before each workout, cool-downs after and plenty of water in between

well my friend..so far the excercise you tell you are doing are the basic kinda excercise to do to reduce your belly..but since it isnt providing much help to you ill give you some pther tips as well..my mom is a yoga master and she has told me what to do..although i go out to the gym for my own excercises..anyway here is what to do..im gonna tell you a kind of excercise ok .. the first excercise:- lie down on the floor such that your face is facing the floor or in such a way that the back portion of your body is facing the ceiling..simply ((as if you've seen people doing pushup..place both your hands open on the ground)) push yourself up only till the waist..dont go beyond that please as it is bad and you'll be overstraining yourself..so push yourself up til your waist only..then go back your rest position..again do this and keep on repeating this..and about the breathing..while you raise your body up breathe in..and while you're in your rest position breathe out.. try this excercise ..it is very effective..do this for a couple of months and it is supposed to work out..and if you still need pointers just add me as your frind and keep in touch..have a nice day
