Hello everyone, Just yesterday when I was on my way to the gym, as usual the crazy traffic the annoying honking and screeching was driving me nuts. I tried to get myself in another world, I just looked at 2 street dogs. They were curled around themselves and just lying, not sleeping. One was looking up with those ever curious eye brows. That really made me feel terrible. I could see those scars on both the dogs, yet they were looking "ok" not food deprived. I imagined their survival skills, the things they have been through, and on top of that the traffic noise must be killing their sensitive ears. I felt helpless, although I had to move along with the traffic those two dogs had made me realize how much the world has to change. We have a take small steps, I now have numbers of dog shelters in my contact list, any do that looks hurt, I will help it. Let me know your view on this, have a great day ~fiazio

I see what you mean!!! It is sad to hear your story. I feel for dogs too. I wish I could take them all home with me but just sometimes it is not possible to do. I don't have time to take care of so many dogs. I too just the other day saw a dog that was at a gas station and called to him and called the number on the dog tag and left a voice mail with his information. I was sad that I couldn't take the dog with me because I had to go to work. So I had to leave him there. Later on in the morning they called me back and it was a vet clinic that number I called. it was very smart of the owners to put the number of the clinic on there because people change their numbers all the time and it is pretty low the times that a business changes it's phone number. Well they called me and asked me for the dog and i gave them the information and they were going to tell the owners I really felt good about myself other than the fact that I should have took him home with me while I found the rightful owner. Either way I know I helped out just a little. Thanks for your discussion. Happy mylotting maria s.
