I just got a raise!

I practically bounced home, despite the heavy rain... Found out my exam results today for a qualification in financial planning - I passed! Not only does this rock in the very obvious sense, but I also got a raise of £2,000 p.a. and a bonus of £1,500! My weekend is going to be spent on cloud nine... Anyone else have good news from work? Anyone else glad it's the weekend? ;-)

Thanks very much! My weekend has been okay. I've been a bit lonely, as my partner is in Poland just now... But she's back tomorrow, and I can't wait! I've been reading an awful lot, which is always good for the old noggin.

Congratulations on our raise and bonus. I am not yet employed though I hope to get called by a job I have lined up soon... A lot of people are anticipating said call! lol! In any case, My husband did get his discount card in the mail from his job. That will help us to be able to buy Christmas Presents Saturday when we go out shopping! I am glad it is the weekend as tomorrow we can go shopping for Christmas presents!

MJay101, I am sorry it took me so long to respond to you. Hope you've gotten those chores done by now and are doing well with getting things for Christmas. I've had to wait but am now in preparation for the job, I go tomorrow for standard orientation.

Congratulations on your raise MJay101. That sounds like quite a bit of money. If I gather right. I recognize the pound symbol, but I am not sure of the significance of p.a. The bonus seems excellent as well! I have been doing fairly well with my residuals from writing online. They seem to increase every month. So I am very happy about that. Plus, I had an apartment that was vacant for a long period of time and I finally got that rented out last weekend. So, that has me very happy as well. I am definitely glad it is the weekend. My nephew called me this morning and wants to have dinner. We decided on tomorrow night. We are going to go to an Italian restaurant that neither of us has tried, so that should be a good experience! And of course, before and afterward I will be watching college football!

Thanks very much, kykidd! It is quite a bit of money, though spaced out over the year (and after tax), it's hardly life-changing... Still, it all helps. (P.a. = per annum!) Congrats on your online earnings, and getting the apartment rented out. I'm only just starting out online... Pennies a day, but again, it's all worth it! I hope you have a super weekend. :)
