Something disturbing about Microworkers

Anybody here on Microworkers? I'm sure everyone using the site looking for workers have seen the change in rates. They went from charging an additional 6.9% from every successful task to 7.5% plus a $0.50 approval fee. Everything else was okay at first since it's how they're managing to survive. Very sustainable and commendable for the services they offer. Until one day, I've submitted a task, used their online calculator to compute for the total amount to be charged and did my own computation. It all checked out. But then, as my submitted task was approved, ANOTHER $0.50 was deducted. I get the point of charging a $0.50 approval fee but according to their online calculator (as crossed with my manual computations), it should have already been included with the total amount deducted. So what comes of it is they charge a whopping total of $1.00 as approval fee. I've already submitted a ticket to clear the issue but there is still no reply and I doubt they ever would. I wouldn't want to push it too far because they might ban my account and I don't want that to happen. I'd like to hear your take on that. Do you think something fishy's going on with them?
