One should not erase on the job training. Every day things change and so does the way of doing thing. We are living in an advance age if one wants to be a head there must be constant training. Althought one may be well qualified there are still room for improvement, because every organization do their work differently. So one must try to learn from others, there are things one cannot learn from books or at schools. Seasoned workers, managers and senior executives can provide valuable access to detailed knowledge of the company culture attitudes, values symbols. One must fint a mentor a wise and trusted person who is willing to share these insights with you. I believe that this is the most effective ways to grow and enpower yourself. The key of success is to be open and teacheable, and to demonstrate a willingness to apply what you have learn.

Hello Willy. I think you are right I think if the younger ones is willing to learn then some of the older ones can teach them many things. Things you can't learn from books or schools. For one thing you can't teach someone how to be polite and respectful to customers, I am sorry but I think that has to be something learned first hand. But then you also got to teach some how to handle that customer that is just a plain A-hole. There are many things to a job and schools can't cover everything. Have a great successful day!
