Well, don't worry - the picture is just of a sleeping cat - not a dead one.
He's sprawled on a box that we keep power strips in that run stuff that go to the roomie's desk - you know, computer, lights, fan - you know - stuff.
So the box is always warm, and cats are such gluttons for warmth when the temps start to go down, but I think Tony likes the electronic "buzz" too since he was sleeping on top of it in the summer as well.
So, here is the most recent picture of Tony - my "myLot" kitten!
Maybe he's a little "power" mad...

How is it that cats are able to sleep anywhere anytime? I know they spend a great deal of the day sleeping, but Tony looks like he's perched on the edge of a cliff LOL.
Our cats used to like sleeping on the CPU, back in the days when it was kept on the floor because our dining table doubled as a computer table. It was cat hair that killed that computer in the end though.

He's our most heat loving cat, and they all like it, mind you, but Tony HATES the cold.
Hey, I have my computer in a room the cat's aren't ALLOWED in, (tho they do come in against our wishes sometimes) and I cleaned a HUGE slab of hair off the fan intake of the old computer

When I first read this, I thought Tony was sleeping directly on the power strip! That's such a cute picture, he looks so comfy I'd love to sit there and stroke his little cheek and under his chin. I love cats! They do the most unusual things, they are total Hedonists!

Sleeping cats are fun. LOL My cat made himself a little bed out of two pillows and an empty box. No kidding. He pulled the pillows into the box, and jumped in. He's been lying there absolutely still for about 8 hours. LOL Do your cats ever do things like that? This cat literally made his own bed. LOL

Yeah, I do think there's more than heat to his buzz... looks like he's drooling, too. I'm reminded of that scene in Buckaroo Bonzai where Christopher Lloyd's character is putting electric leads to his tongue...

It isn't that cold here, but Tony really HATES the cold - he did spend a very cold night outside before he was rescued...
Now, I know, I'm in TEXAS, how cold can it get? Well, it was below freezing that night, into the 20's, he was a lucky kitten to be rescued by a caring mylotter and for me to drive down and get him

What a beauty Tony is! He reminds me of my Rosie; she sleeps on top of my computer modem because it gets warm! Cats are funny like that. I find my two in the strangest places...The other day one went missing and I looked for him everywhere and could not find him until I went to the linen cupboard to get a clean towel and there is snugly cuddled up amongst all my nice clean towels! Grrr!!! Lucky for him he’s cute!
