Today is Children's Day in India. Today schools organize events, programs and shows for Children and is one of the days I used look forward to as a Child. I remember that on this day we used to have our sports and cultural events during my school time and used to be a lot of fun. Do you have something similar in your country? If so what are your memories of the event? Cheers! Ram

We have children's day here in china on 1st,June. Primary school students will have one day off and usually their parents bring them to somewhere to celebrate. and for sure shops and organisers have activities for children, most of which are for commerical value. I am not a child anymore. and i don't remember i had what kind of fun in my age.

Cool... Here the children's day coincides with the b'day of Jawarlal Nehru our first PM who used to love children and was popularly known as Chacha (Uncle) Nehru. Is there any significance of 1st June in China for Children's day? Cheers! Ram
