I know of two people that do that and I have found shoes of their's in the trash a few times! The shoes aren't even broken in and they throw them out! These women throw the shoes out because they don't like them! Instead of asking if someone could use a used pair of shoes or donate them to like the Salvation Army, the shoes go in the trash! Luckily I wear the same size of the women who throw out their shoes! It sure saves me money! I hate people are wasteful!

um just for a little check are you looking through their trash on purpose or is it just out there in the open? now to my answer i think that those women are crazy for throwing out non worn out shoes and they should be giving them to places like goodwill or the salvation army or other thrift stores i get a lot of shoes at places like that for next to nothing and usually in perfect shape and not even broken in. like a pair of camo print hi top converse all stars for a few bucks i wanna see someone beat that without having them given as a gift.

The shoes I have found were in the ladies bathroom trash can. Sometimes I'll take out that trash and put a new bag in. The trash bag is mostly full of paper towels. I wasn't looking on prepose! Thanks for the response!

That's a waste. When I want to throw things out, I usually go to the salvation army if it's still in good condition. If not, then, I'd ask someone if they want my stuff. It's such a waste to get rid of items that are still in good condition.

I don't think these two women have a careing bone in their bodies! So they would never think to donate the shoes to like the Salvation Army! I'm the winner here! I get free shoes and save money!

Wow that is not cool. people are homeless and less fortunate and need shoes and clothes and they just throw them away!!!. They can donate or even give them to Plato's closet and make a few bucks for them.!!!

Yes, it really is a pity when people throw out perfectly good items or food. The economy is so bad right now you think they would learn to be more money wise. Oh well, at least you will get a good use out of the items they threw out.

These women don't act like the economy is bad! They just don't care! While they are wasting money on more shoes I'm saving money wearing their thrown out shoes!

Shoes are a bit of a touchy subject for me, too expensive to buy. But whenever I go to a second hand store I get lost about the shoes, people really give them away when they're new! One time I bought a pair of high heeled shoes (second hand) for $10 and later found out they were even of a famous and really expensive brand, they should have costed at least $100, and they were new!! I don't get why people spend so much money to buy those things and then give them away for nothing. Last month I visited the second hand store again, looking for trainers, they are normally so expensive. I have got a pair of Nike shoes for $5...five dollars!! They are used yes, but maybe used three times, not more, they really are almost new. Of course I'm glad of that, but I really wonder how people can do that. The pair of trainers I replaced with this new pair was one I worn for over 1 year, including marathon training (so yes they were worn out), they even had a hole!! And anyways I'm not throwing them away, just meaning to use them in the garden or the woods, where I don't want to use the new (or almost new) pair I bought. That's it, I only throw them away when they fall in pieces, really. But I'm glad people don't so I can have new shoes for nothing, it sure helps my pocket. :)

What a waste. I usually don't throw anything away unless its broken and can't be fixed. As for shoes if I don't like them I find someone who might want them. I also give old clothes and shoes to charities that are asking for donations. I would never think about throwing a perfectly good pair of shoes away. Its a good thing that you wear the same size, you are saving money and the shoes are not going to waste.

Thanks for the response! I always donate my old clothes and shoes I don't like to charites! These two women just don't care! They are truly wasteful! I am glad I'm not like that! I'm also glad I wear the same size and save money!

hi,blue65packer! I don't agree to waste stuff and money. perhaps some women believe that "a woman can never have too many shoes!"but no matter how many shoes they've bought, each of them just has one pair of feet to wear shoes.therefore,it's unnecessary to buy a number of shoes and then throw them away before wearing out them.I don't think there's much fun in it. even if they really don't like the shoes anymore, they can deal with them in another way instead of treating them as wastes, such as to donate them to people who need shoes or to take them to a second hand market.I believe taht doing like won't damage their images and taste. well, that's what I think. have a nice day!

Oh i so hear on the throwing shoes away. The only time i throw shoes away is if they are done and when i mean done i mean one shoe is talk and the other shoe is listening. I teach my kid that he grows out of his shoes we will donate to the goodwill or pass them down to someone else. shoes are not cheap and being wastefull is not cool.
