Is Your Family Affected by Furlough's?

My parents both work for the state. Since the furlough came about, my dad's hours was reduced to 20 a week. My mom was laid off. Tonight, on the news several more state workers was laid off. This furlough days has affected my parents stability tremendously. They both got a 2nd job and aren't able to manage financially. Is your family, parents, friends, etc facing the same issue? Do they have to work a 2nd or 3rd job to make ends meet?
