in my country there are 23 provinces.

We have 50 states and many of them are very different from each other. We have oceans on three sides of our country, praire in the middle, and mountians that run North and South. While our states are seperate you can travel from one state to another with just a short border check, no papers required. Our people all speak English but it changes from one part of the country to next.
