the universal rule

Recently I have re-seen one movie. John Carpenters "They Live" (1988). While enjoying, I hear (and therefor remember) the RULE. The Golden Rule: those who have the gold makes the rules. What do you think, true or false ?

Hi William. The wealthy DO have a lot of power, too much power, especially when it is wrongly used. I like the golden rule better as taken from the Bible: do unto to others as you would have them do unto you. That has always been how the Golden Rule is used where I am from. Karen

And China is buying up all the gold. And we sit idly by and think we can change them from the totalitarian regime that they are by trading with them, and borrowing money from them.

Yes, it is true always the wealthy people who is in control. They always have the power because of their money. . . Everyone listens to those people "who have the gold" even if those rules they make are bad, and no one will listen to a poor man even if his idea is good. They will just ignore the guys who aren't rich.
