Considering Getting A Mac Instead on Windows 7

I've used a PC with Microsoft Windows for all of my computing time (more than 10 years now). So I have no direct experience of Mac's. However, I'd say a big pro would be that Macs are not prone to Internet virus's though I'm not sure if that's because there are not many virus's written for the Mac or if the Mac OS is resistant anyway. A con would be that Macs are more expensive than a PC of equivelant specification, so really it will come down to money in the end.

Hello Andy and welcome to my lot. I don't know I have been using a computer since 2000 and I wish I had got a Mac instead of the windows. It has been a mess but I have gotten windows XP to run the way I like it. I have heard that Mac's are a better choice on a computer show I used to watch. If you have dish or direct TV you can look on there, there used to be a show called call for help and the screen savers they are good ones to learn from.
