how do you become a soccer referee?

becoming a soccer referee is a whole lot easier than i think, staying a soccer referee one you have crazy parents and even crazier coaches scream at you over a soccer match full of 5 year olds is the hard part. so how to become a soccer referee if i am a teenager? what skills i should have?
it seem like a great way for me to make extra money and be around the game and the type of people i enjoy

I think you've identified the major problem with refereeing... Especially in the UK, in the lower leagues, the amount of abuse directed at referees is shocking.
I think you need to take qualifications to be a referee at any professional level - and you have to be fit, else Sir Alex (t*rd) Ferguson will have a go!
