i have a 10 inch square piece of model magic it has been sitting out for about 9 hours. It isn't as hard as i would like it to get i am trying to get it to hold a curve (i have it sitting on a paint can to get the shape) every time i move it it flattens out i was hoping to be able to paint it tomorrow morning but i need it to stay in that shape and if i paint it then it wont dry completely. I want to know if it is as hard as its going to get and if i need to consider another design option i need to lay a thicket piece out to pain i need it all dry and painted by Tuesday at 1:30pm it is now saturday 1:42 am. Any advise would be EXTREMELY helpful. thank you.

In my experience, it usually takes about a day, day and a half if it's a thick piece. I don't know how hard you need it to be, but Model Magic only hardens to the consistancy of foam rubber. It should hold it's shape, though.
