I don't know if I am having writer's block or just no inspiration.

I haven't written for a couple days. Someone gave me a great idea and I sit down to write and I am just bored with the whole idea of writing. That's like a really bad sign isn't it? I hope I will be able to get it together. I have a ton of titles I can write to and the pen just won't move on the paper. My fingers won't click on the computer either. I tried both ways. Back to square one!

You might be experiencing writer's block right now. If so trying to force yourself to write probably won't work. I suggest that you have a day out to do some relaxing activities like visiting somewhere pleasant. A day out to a place of interest or beauty can do wonders for me. Perhaps soon you will be back to your writing with loads of inspiration. Good luck.

I'm actually thinking about reading. I haven't read a good novel for a while so maybe I will take one of my old reader's digest books off the shelf. Probably blow the dust off of it.

Hi Mommaj, I think you need a break, don't force yourself to do it. Why not have a pampering session for yourself and hopefully you can re-gain your sanity and inspiration in putting into words and texts everything that's running inside your heart and mind. Let me give you a power hug my friend-- i just hope in my simple way i can delight you.

Smiles. You know how hard it is to take a few minutes out for yourself. Writing is an outlet for me. Maybe I am no longer stressed? Wouldn't that be nice? My kids have been really good, but I haven't taken them out of the house yet this weekend.

So far our weekend has been good. You can tell by how messy the living room is as to how much fun the kids have had so far. LOL

I have been the same way lately. I have all these ideas I even have trouble sleeping. Because of all these article ideas. But not to motivated to submit them to ehow. They have had a lot of bugs lately and I guess Im afraid to get deleted after going through all that work.

Oh, I don't blame you. I actually write by hand or put it on the computer before submitting it to the websites. There is actually a couple of reasons for this. First, I don't like losing anything I do and secondly I want proof the article is mine. I have noticed a lot of people stealing articles lately and putting them through some type of computer program. I would rather they steal my article word for word than to make it look so horrible. LOL

Your brain can only take on so much and then it needs a break. I haven't worked on any articles all weekend. I had other things I needed to do and so I did those instead. I am always pushing to turn out articles but there's always something else not getting done. Tomorrow I will get back to it.

LOL. That is totally my problem at the moment. Too many other distractions. Sometimes, I don't know if I am coming or going. It's just bad! I had lots of titles emerge out of my head, but after that point Nothing!

Well, I am glad we all have the same problems. LOL I don't wish that on anyone because you feel like you want to do something and then you can't.

Honey, I have a whole noteboook full of titles! At least 95% of them are helium titles and probably 85% are empty titles I want to write to.

Hiya mommaj, These past few Days I have had that problem too I have been trying to write something and the idea is there but it just won´t come out. What I do is to write on here a while and surf the Internet a little. Get up and do a lot of Housework but at the same time I think over what I want to write about a little and the next time usually I get it straight into notepad no problems. Does´nt always work like that but it´s what I do usually when I am stuck.

I think that has to be the worst. Having an idea but not being able to fully grasp it. Sometimes that happens to me and I will try to put that out of my mind and force myself to write an article on something else. Then, all of the sudden, that idea brings all the words to my head at once and I have to write them down. Sometimes a nap or sleep helps.

Hello Mommaj. No maybe your mind is telling you need a break. I would get a tape recorder and record what I was thinking about. That would give you a little rest and makes it easier to remember what you really wanted to talk about. Take a break and rest up it will give your mind time to get adjusted. I know the feeling sometimes I just can't write and I will take a break and play a game or do something I have been putting off and when I am done it all seems to come rolling back. Like nothing was ever wrong. Hope you have a great day!

Actually, I decided to do laundry this morning. I really didn't need to, I just wanted to do something to get my mind off of my dillema. It didn't work, so I thought maybe a post would help. So far, nothing. I am sure it will come back, it almost feels like a case of the lazies. LOL OF course, this morning my son woke me up at three so it's almost been a whole day for me. LOL

Being woke up so early has a lot to do with when I just get the droopy bottom is what I call it. Well at least you got something done that was positive. That is a great thing. Anything done in a positive way is a good thing. I hope your doing better now! Have a great day!

LOL. I tried that too. Unfortunately, there wasn't many discussions that I found to answer. I read them all, but nothing that is inspirational or motivating.

I am having the same trouble! I can't seem to get my creative juices onto the page. I've been having great ideas, but my mind is foggy and I feel distracted by work and other outside things. I can't concentrate long enough to get a good, well written sentence out. It's so frustrating! I hope that your troubles clear up soon and you get excited about writing again -- Best of luck!

I finally got over my "block", but now I have so many other things interrupting me that I can't seem to get the time to write. The kids will be home for the rest of the week so there goes my chance. LOL I will be playing though so that might inspire some more articles. LOL

Just plain laziness. If you are working for the press, you wont get this problem. I never see the reporters complaining about "bored with the whole idea of writing", and we get empty pages the next day. I think you just have to start writing, and treat it as a job instead of a hobby. if you imagine your husband asking you to hunt for a job, then you will surely get the motivation to write, in order to get the money coming in.

LOL. That's already happened. You would think I would be able to get motivated huh? I'm not sure I want to go back into the workforce. There isn't anyone hiring accept for retail. I used to do bookeeping. Can you imagine how I would treat customers. LOL. Actually, I was an assistant manager for a convenience store before getting married. I guess I could always do that.

I'd say go and do something that you like to do.....Have some fun! Do something that makes "You" happy. Erase yourself from the situation that you are facing at the moment and go do something that you love to do, whatever that is. The happiness that you will generate from doing what you love will get you back on track. You'll be surprised.....Try It.....Bon Voyage!!!!

HEHEHE. I would love to. With two kids it's a little more complicated than that. I love the thought though.

I don't think it is a bad sign. It's hard to get into the grove of getting the idea of writting down on paper. Sometimes you have to take a break and then come back to your paper and you'll be able to write again. So don't get frustrated it's just natural. Take your time. Breathe and take a break you'll see that it wasn't a bad sign.

That's what I keep hoping. I start to write, but then the kids want something so I keep getting distracted and only writing a couple words at a time made me crazy. I completely stopped trying and I figure I will start on Tuesday when they will both be in school.

I just started with this particular blogging site and wanted to know besides doing physical activities what do you besides reading to get inspired when you do think you have writer's block? I have 5 children and they are 17-9 and you would think I would have a lot of topics to write about but I find my mind racing all over the place and can't stay focused. Please advise.

Hehehe. I only have two kids and sometimes I face the same dilemma. Most of the time they are the inspiration though. With five kids there should be at least one thing that happens in a day that stands out. For instance you are standing in the line at the supermarket and the cashier is rude. I write articles so I would write an article on the importance of employee training, the importance of hiring the right person for the job, or How to train cashiers to deal with the general public. Maybe you take your kids to school and a kid is throwing a temper tantrum. I would write an article about Parenting in public. You could go in all kinds of different directions with what happens in a day.
