2012- Are you rooting for the end of the world?

Hi Bionicman, The end of the world is nigh I know what you mean it would be kind of cool to witness the end of the world in a strange kind of "just to see what happens" way. I do think you are right though we will be safe for a long time to come at least I hope lol.

I don't believe it either. Remember when they thought that the year 2000 was going to be the end of the world, because of the Y2K crisis? LOL That was a big fat laugh. I remember listening to the radio on new Year's Eve 1999-2000, and the reactions. It's 2000, and nothing's happened. LOL I see the same thing happening in 2012.

I'm with you I wouldn't really mind it. I have witnessed so much in my 52 years that I can really say it would be a blessing of sorts. I'm so sick of hearing all the killing and kidnappings of children and females its just so depressing, not to mention the two wars we are dealing with. To be able to put an end to the suffering that so many people are going thru would be great. I guess I'm crazy too but that is how I feel.

A part of me wants this to happen. Even sooner. I am just jaded. Can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Oh, I mean there is a light, but I think it is the oncoming train. The train that says end of the world.

Wow. You remind me of Charlie from that movie. He was a supporter of the end of the world. Lol. Anyway, I don't believe it will happen either.. And I don't really want to think about the possibilities because that would be too scary. .

There is alot of hype about the world going to end in 2012. I don't think it will end. The world will keep on going and going. But yes there is an end in 2012. An old calander called Mayan calander is going to end on 21st dececember 2012.

The 2012 stuff is a figment of someone's imagination. The world is not ending in 2012 and I don't wish it would. What would happen to humans when the world comes to an end?

I have actually had similar thoughts, I was always thinking about if the end of the world would happen so soon then it would be nice being able to see it happen. Of course, I don't want it to happen, but if it does happen I would probably be amazed that this would actually happen. But, I'm sure that it won't happen anyways, and earth will be safe for a long time like you've said.

I'm sure most people (especially the way the economy is right now) are wishing for the end of the world. I think that things would have to get a lot worse in order for things to just end. A slow process to the end of humanity. Sudden world endings happen in books, movies and cartoon plots.

Well, im not hoping that everyone would perish along with me but if it happens, then it happens. I don't anticipate it or look forward to it but if that's what is set to happen, then who can control it. I'm just living my life the way I deem fit for now.

Yes, it is impossible completely that the end of the world will happen in 2012. If it happens in 2012, that is to say, I have to get ready to witness the coming of such a catastrophe, which is really unimaginable. Of course, it is just a science fiction film and there are no apparent proofs that tell us that the end of the world is coming. If it will happen sooner or later, I hope it would happen when I am getting old instead of nowadays. If it happens in 2012, it is unfair to me because I am still young. I hope it is just a mirage instead of a truth.

I love my life and do not belive in doomsday. There is no way that I would ever want for the end of the world to come. Life is too cool and to root for it would be just wasting your time because it will not come any time soon.

I also don't believe about it, it was only mere issue...... but according to the information i heard, that the story was foretold by a virtual tribe of thesolar storm in 2012. Whether or not...... we'll see!!!

I am so sick of these discussions but I cannot help but respond to them haha! I dont think the world is going to end! I have heard it too many times to believe it now and I am only 21 so I am ery philisophical about it! Also if it was going to happen then god wouldnt allow any more people to become pregnant and he would be trying to kill people off slowly but nicely! Thats my opinion anyway! No I wouldnt like it to end I enjoy living and I have 2 daughters with whom I love spending time with!

yeah sometimes i wish that it would come true and yeah maybe i'm crazy too. =P Well whatever happens it's our fate and we are going to be it's witnesses.. Let's Pray it wouldn't...
