How much bandwidth do you spend monthly?

I'm lucky enough to have flatrate so I don't have to pay for bandwidth. I use torrents a lot and it's always running on the computer even when I'm not there so at least 2GB a day. I didn't have internet connection at home for like 4 months so I used USB stick modem and it was really expensive- $1 for 5MB. It was crazy, youtube and stuff like that were out of question. I even had the pictures turned off in Firefox to save some bandwidth. Fortunately I have my connection back and don't have to worry about this anymore. Do you still pay for bandwidth or do you have flat? How much bandwidth do you spend in one month?

*cough* You obviously either have more than 256Kbps, or those 500GB (Gb?) are definitely an exaggeration, since with that speed, at constant top rate, for 24 hours a day, 30 days a month, you wouldn't break the 90GB mark.

Yes, and like I said, you could be downloading 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 4 weeks per month, at peak speed, and if your download speed was only 256Kbps you couldn't possibly even make 100GB/month, so you obviously have a faster access than that.

I used to have WiMax 512kbps connection costing $9 per month with 5GB limit and if u needed extra bandwidth then u would ave to buy it at $0.9/500MB. But just a few days ago I have converted to a 1 mbps DSL connection with unlimited bandwidth at $15/month and I think that my average daily usage now is 1-2GB per day.

I don't use torrents, and though my partner and I are on the internet for hours each day, our usage is only around 4Gb per month. Which reminds me - I must change our net package! We get 8Gb per month for free, so I'm really wasting bandwidth by not using it...

I pay about $99 for unlimited national, local calls and 20gigabytes of wifi internet. Try to find a package like that. Never, never purchase usb type packages whereby the ratio between cost per gigabyte is exorbitant. Try to bundle you mobile, home phone, and internet together and its like buying in bulk. It will certainly reduce your monthly costs. Best of luck

We are alloted 25 GB and we usually only spend about 75% of that monthly, but in the last couple of months, our ISP has been jerking us around, saying we spent a lot more than we did. We're still trying to get the problem fixed. it's really annoying, the way they're acting.
