ARRGGHH they don't work!!!

OK, I am hanging up my christmas lights, icicle lights outside. Yes, I checked them before I hung them up. Let me also remind you, that I don't like to get on the top step of a ladder, my son is trying to rake the leaves and raking in the road!! So, I am trying to watch him, get to the top, hook the lights in...Finally after about an hour, just one strand, I am done. Need more to go around the other side, don't have, trying to hook more around my generic window, and whalaa...darnit, only have work. Its starting to rain, I am going in.
Has this and the song by Jeff Foxworthy with the 25 days of Christmas with the lites ever fit you at the same time?

why thanks. it was much easier when we put up my mother in laws and then no one came to help me with mine!! thanks for your input anyhow. don't you put up lights?

Well we have already put up our lights, and we have grouped the lights in three places w/c represents each grouped/bundled light for each one of our three kids.
