Never seen it. A few months ago, I downloaded it and then my hard disk crashed so I haven't seen it. I'll do it these days for sure.

This movie completely scared me when I was a child. It is still not one of my favorites. However, I do think that everyone should see it. I watched it a couple of times with no sound and had the pink floyd dark side of the moon albumn playing. Believe it or not, that was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It is amazing how well the music fits with the movie. I have heard good things about Return to Oz, but have been unable to find it anywhere. According to the movie stores it is extremely hard to find. I would love to hear people's opinions on that movie too. My daugther is 6, and she loves The Wizard of Oz, it just goes to show the timelessness of the movie!

i think the only movie i remember scaring me as a child was the original alien and it was not enough to keep me up at night so it couldn't have been too bad. i think i'm going to have to do that with the dark side of the moon some day that sounds really interesting. i hadn't heard or id forgotten about return to oz tho now i'm interested and will probably look into it. maybe netflix has it? i agree the movie is completely timeless.

hi dracoserpintenes oh I loved the Wizard of Oz and as old as I am now would love to see it again. My favorite line was when Dorothy told Toto, Toto we are not in Kansas any more. I loved all the movie, its a real classic and should be replayed often I think.

i think that that line is the most popular line in the movie around the world. it may be one of the most quoted lines from a movie of all time. and yea it could definately stand up to being played more than once a year.

I've noticed this about this particular movie! The Wizard of Oz always seems to show around Christmas time and I never become bored with it! I like this movie and I don't mind the repeats. I generally love all the Christmas movies that show but the Wizard of Oz seems to be a family favourite. Andrew

maybe its just that it fits in with the family theme and christmas is a family time of year that would explain the reasoning.

It was on last night. I like the movie too but my 28 year old daughter loves the movie. She loves it so much she has gotten her daughter hooked to the point she dressed as Dorothy for Halloween. She would ring the bell and say trick a treat my name is Dorothy. My favorite classic line besides the one you mentioned is "theres no place like home".
