The world of pick up lines

hey guys and gals, we've all heard of great and atrocious pick up lines, not all. I want to know which pick up lines to avoid, and which ones to banter around next time your out and about.
Personally, the worst and corniest one I've heard is " if you were a burger at McDonald's you'd be McGorgeous.
The dirtiest "Hey baby, you must be the plague, cos, you give me swelling and fever in the groin" yes i'm sure there are dirtier ones... hehe
And no i haven't heard of a good one, well at least one that I'm not brave enough to use.
Oh and if your brave, do tell us when, where, and what happened when you used one.

The best one I ever used, is the one that hooked my wife!
When we had known each other for 2 months, I finally was brave enough to hold her hand! One night when she was going back home, (she lived 30 miles away) I told her 'you know you don't have to drive all the way home if you don't want to','why don't you stay here with me'! Well, she stayed, and the rest is history, 4 months later we were married, !

wow Musicman, that story is sooooo romantic. How did you end up knowing her like initially? So the pick up line was 'you know you don't..." I have to admit that wasn't magnificant, but it did work for you. So moral of the story is it doesn't have to be the wildest pickup line, and it doesn't even have to be intended as one, to work?

I hired her to be the drummer in my band! Naturally I was attracted to her, and we were friends for about 2 months, but then I think we started getting too close!

i tell my partner when i really have the feeling to say so. i remember the first time i said this type of statement is the period of i fall sick. i remember that time he take a very good care of me, and even cook those nutrigent food for me, and stay beside me all the days. i told him, "sure is your fault that make me fall sick, as your passion of our love make me so hot and touched and cried." it is quite normal one la, still got more dirtier ones, but i believe any words you voice out really is your true feeling. then wont mind to say out since it is as true as your heart.
when you meet the right timing, you will say out something like me too^^
