Yes, it would depend on the people. Different people have different values and therefore what one person sees as a fault might be a strong point to somebody else. In one example a man who had higher rank than me in my workplace continually tried to convince me I did not have enough humility. But he had no humility at all. He just though that women should act differently. He thought that self-confidence was necessary for a man to have in the workplace but that women should be weak and useless. I did not think that being strong and confident was bad. It was furthermore the only way to succeed. So I would not accept that was a fault. Another man who worked there said I was too timid! So I agreed with that criticism and worked to become even stronger and more self-confident.

many people would make mistakes and fault, but seldom would recognize what they do was wrong when someone point out their mistake.when someont points out my mistake,at first i will feel angry.but later i will feel he or she is right.i must thank for what he or she had done.sometimes, there is not wrong or right i think.manything our standpoints are not agree.

Hi..itzmee Those who are not making mistakes are not humans. When we are observing a writing pencil, we can see that it comes with an eraser in the other end. It means that everybody will makes the mistakes so only the eraser is provided with that . If some one points out my reaction, I will accept it if their reaction is genuine. Mistake is a mistake who ever it commits.I don't think that we should react according the standard of the people those who are point out. The mistake will be a mistake if it points out by God or Satan. So we should accept the mistake and try to avoid such mistakes in the future

I am sure we all have made mistakes and we can not avoid making mistakes.so i will be glad to accept my mistakes or faults i made and feel grateful if someone point them out, which will help me to correct them before they become more serious, and with others'warning,i remember a mistake more clearly and will not make the same mistake again.

Hi,friend,it's true with many cases and i think it is common people's human nature.Me too, not to used to accept my faults in temperament age and again i used to found faults on others. After getting maturity[i feel],slowly understanding the world and reality. Now i deliberately accept my faults and if necessary,i will say sorry.I am in a mental status of judging the right or wrong.Thanq for starting this discussion.

I think it is really nice of someone to tell us your bad points, well I can say that if the person who told me that was my best friend. Knowing your bad moves or bad decisions can help you improve as a person so I see only benefits if someone were to tell you your bad points. You can never know what other people are thinking of you and only honest people will tell you the truth. I hope your actions don't cause the person telling you how bad you are scared of you as most probably they are telling the truth.
