Based on my experience, I would say "yes." I usually spend my time online to interact with family, friends or business clients. I also surf the net to do some research. Sometimes, I just surf the net to relax. I have not yet tried playing online.

i do like spending my time online.it did make me open up to a whole new world. I don't have a lot of money but online world connected me to the other part of the world that i have never set foot on. I felt that i am more knowledgeable and outspoken. Sometime i do feel like wasting time here especially when i am after earning money online. I learned my lesson though.

Anything that you enjoy doing is worth spending time on in my opinion. And if you can make a buck or two while playing online, all the better!

Hi Apaomai, Welcome to Mylot! YES it's worth spending our time and money of course but with responsibility in the sense that our lives will not be dependent on being online all the time ignoring the fact that we still need to physically interact with people and do some physical activities. As long as it gives one pleasure and learn from this go... but too much of everything or anything is not healthy.. Let's be conscious and be mindful to manage our time and activities. This is better than engaging ourselves into health abusive activities.

Hi apaomai. I would say yes to chatting online not because i am a chatter. I am very proud of all the friends ive met over the internet and every minute with them is like the same as the spending every minute with your close friends. It is nice to learn about other cultures and other stuff. It would be wise to choose a chatmate who shares the same language as you do. I had experienced chatting with an egyptian and i really find it hard to communicate with him because his english is so limited. For practical reasons, i no longer chat with him because i know that i could not get that productive.
