I know that it's good to have breakfast and not skip them. Also, too heavy a breakfast is also not recommended as i know of. So, what do you prefer eating for your breakfast? Do you take bread and milk or coffee and cakes, or noodles, or just cereal or just a glass of juice? For me I prefer taking some light breakfast, probably some eggs, bread and ham or bacon together with a hot cup of coffee. So, how about you ?

It normally depends on my mood. But usually I prefer to have two over easy eggs, two slices of wheat toast, 3 slices of bacon, and a cup of orange juice. Sometimes I also like to had 2 pancakes but like I said it depends on my mood. I think my mood affects on if I'm too lazy to make everything or not. It's rare that I eat cereal unless I have a big craving for a certain type.

I prefer heavy breakfast like fried rice and fish or eggs and a cup of hot chocolate. As far as I know, one must eat heavy meal on breakfast because our stomach is empty for a long hours.

Honestly I dont do breakfast except for on the weekend. I do make breakfast for my 2 year old thou. As she has breakfast thou I am making the bed and doing other things so that I can spend time with her and work on the net some. On the weekend my hubby cooks breakfast and we have eggs, and toast and normally pancakes and sausage. He likes his breakfast as you can tell. LOL! The kids love it too. The teens love it when he cooks as he over does it all. LOL!

How can you consider Eggs, bread, bacon a light breakfast??? They are heavy foods. I used to always have 4 pieces of toast with Vegemite on them and a cup of coffee first thing in the morning before work. These days I get up and drink around 500mls of spring water and an hour or so later I have breakfast. This is usually a Raw Vegan Smoothie. I just finished one before that was made from 7 Lady Finger Bananas, 6 Dates, a handful each of Cacao Beans and Goji Berries, a tablespoon of Tocotreinols, which is a rice bran and a teaspoon each of Mesquite Powder, Maca Powder and MSM Powder. This was all blended together with fresh Almond Milk! Delicious! I usually have some frozen blueberries and raspberries as well, but we are out of them today! Sometimes I have a Chia Seed porridge with Chia Seeds soaked in Almond Milk mixed with some Goji Berries, Sultanas and Honey! Yummo!

I always skip breakfast, it's a bad habit i know, but I just can't help my sloth of sleeping in the morning. My favourite breakfast is the porridge, cereal, sausage It's very hard to choice between delicious breakfast and the morning sleeping. LOL

breakfast is the meal that fuels us for the day. We should eat breakfast like a king lunch like a queen and supper like a pauper. I usually have a bowl of steel cut oat meal because it keeps me from getting hungry before noon. I add molasses and butter to it. i then have a couple of pieces of whole grained toast with 1/2 an avocado at least twice a week for my cholesterol. For a drink I have 1 cup of coffee. With this breakfast I don't eat again until late afternoon.

I love break fast, and I never miss my break fast. I can miss my lunch or dinner, but never break fast. I do not whether you will be able to understand our food. Any how I will try to explain it to you also. I always have Idly, which is made up of crushed fermented rice which is steamed. I take this with sambar and chutney. These are the side dishes which are made from lentils and coconut/tomatto, respectively. I also have a vada, which is something like a doughnut only it is not sweet but sour and it is fried. We also have dosa which is also made from fermented rice, only this is made like a pan cake, for this also the side dish is sambar, chutney and potatoes. We usually do not take sweets like jam for our break fast.

Hi ramesh, I was wondering if I'd spot any friends in this fascinating and interesting discussion about breakfast. Do you answer many of these? I already guess you've said chutney.

Hi rtslvtwy, I never skip breakfast and consider it to be the most important meal of the day. I always start my day with a cup of boiled water that I let cool until I'm able to sip it. After that I usually have a have bowl of cereal(corn flakes is my favourite, but I also like others, including freshly made warm porridge)and three almond nuts. I always finish up with tea and toast. Sometimes I will have an egg instead of cereal and I often have an orange as well. Also there are times that I will add fruit to my cereal, such as strawberries and blueberries. The things that never change are the warm water and the almonds. Blessings.

Yup ... I heard about the warm water thingy before you really start eating anything for breakfast. I think it's a good practice.

I like the idea of your light breakfast! I also like eating eggs for breakfast sometimes - I like them fried on fried bread or toast, with tomato ketchup. But I don't have this very often, just occasionally as a treat. I usually have either a bowl of cereal (muesli) and milk, a slice of toast with honey or chocolate spread, or a toasted bagel, either with tea or hot chocolate.

I have several different breakfast favorites. Cold ceresl or bacon and eggs is traditional. I seem to go for the sweeter side of breakfast with pastries most often.

I love breakfast food and even if I'm a night person, I never miss breakfast. I normally have a glass of cold milk, oatmeal or slice of bread and cheese omelett. I don't fancy meat in the morning (like ham or bacon), I like to keep it hearty and light.

I love eggs fixed anyway, love bacon, sausage & him, i love ried potatoes very breakfast, grits & eggs, gravy & biscuits so there is not much i don't like when it comes to breakfast foods. Anything that yummy or delicious will make my day. For me i have to eat more or heavy meal during breakfast. Something like rice with the famout "adobo" or egg with hotdog or spam or corned beef or hotcake or bacon and ham or simply bread or pastries that really tastes good. And i feel very much full when drinking a cup of coffee or chocolate. It is where i get my strength, my power, my energy in facing a load of work for hours.
