Que sera sera whatever will be, will be... This is a line from a song ( I can't recall the artist, though). Sometimes in our lives we are doing things that we are not so sure of. We are compelled to do it because it is what others are expecting us to do. Not because we love to do it or it is what we want to do.In return, we tend to give our very best. We would often say to ourselves, "Whatever. At least I did what I had to do".We are just doing it for the sake of doing it without even taking into consideration the outcome of our performance...

Hmm, whatever will be, will be...
To an extent, I would agree but then, that doesn't mean I wouldn't stop doing things or try at least. That's just how I put it. Somehow, that phrase to me sounds like one going through life with a degree of apathy, as if not caring about the consequences of ones actions. That's just me. Not saying I'm right though.

Hi dear!
You are right that sometimes we do certain tasks for the sake of others and for making them happy and joyful. I think our life is not for ourselves alone, we are supposed to live for others also and great people also say that if we can live for others and can serve others, nothing like that.

Hello. Doris Day sang this song a good 50 years ago. I believe that everything, good and bad, happens for a reason. We are human, so we have free will and make choices. If we make the wrong choice, we can hopefully learn from the experience, and if we make the right choice, it's a great feeling. Either way, I think all we can do is give it our best shot and hope things work out.
