Freelance writing jobs on the net has been very popular these days. Mostly for housewives, students and working people this has been a latest trend. I recently started writing in a few websites and it's giving me immense pleasure. Pages like Triond, eHow, Bukisa, Hubpages, Suite101 and Firehow have been a hub for Freelance Writers. It's a good way to earn a few bucks as well keeps you involved and busy. Do anyone of you work as a Freelance writer? Please share your experiences.

I have been writing for quite sometime now with sites like Helium, Bukisa, Triond and Shvoong. I have heard of Hubpages, but not suite101 and Firehow? How are they, do they pay International writers? Because Hubpages as what I visited and understood only pays US citizens. Cheers.

i hav tried for Suite101 but my works doesn match their criteria coz i'm mostly into poetry writing. Firehow is same like eHow but i've not yet joined it. I m quite new in dis field, only joined 1 or 2 sites. u can go through the websites and check their FAQ once.

Well I tried triond once but somehow it didnt work out good for me and I left .I think I must have written one article before realising that it was a bit too formal for me and even worse wasnt making any money off a very long discussion I wrote .I have tried to persue a few but somehow never found one that satisfies my situation except mylot and whats even worse is that many of them require a sign up.I have written down the ones you have given me and I will check them out when I can because I am interested in writing .Another turnoff for me with regards to many of these sites is that they require a fee for sign up

I write in the same sites as you do as well as on Helium.com. I don't write as much as I'd like because I'm busy with other things but it's been interesting so far. I managed to make a few dollars off of my articles. Not too bad.

I have just tried to write articles online about four days ago. I am a member of Triond and have posted four articles there. This is my first time and I am just a beginner so I wouldn't call myself a freelance writer lol. I was interested in Triond because of the low minimum payout, which is only 50 cents. It looks very realistic to me. I write articles as an excercise, anyway. I don't expect to be rich, because I know I won't lol.

Freelance Writer - Compared with most jobs, to be a freelance writer means that I will have to work hard and try my best to creat much concents myself. At the same time, I will lose my weekend when others enjoy their better time on weekend.
Although my current job has nothing to do with freelance writer, my dream is to work as a freelance writer someday. If I can meet some chances in the future, I will choose to start my career as a freelance writer for an online company. To be honest, maybe for a natural talent, I really want to get into writing articles and want to be published in magazines. Compared with most jobs, to be a freelance writer means that I will have to work hard and try my best to creat much concents myself. At the same time, I will lose my weekend when others enjoy their better time on weekend. Of course, I can budget my time freely, which is really important for me. Happy myLotting!

I write for a couple different places but the one I enjoy the most is Associated Content - I write there just to have fun writing and sharing my work with others. I don't earn much but anything is better than nothing and I'm growing - learning from other writers and the experience. I've heard of all the sites you mentioned but haven't worked for them. I did write full-time freelancing for a company but parted ways when had a problem with management.

i used to freelance many years ago before it became as popular as it is today. i got paid pretty well. i used to write for a website that sold their work to other sites and i got paid over $10 for 500 words and now one is lucky to get $1.00 or 2.

Hello. Very good to read your posting. Writing has been my hobby since my student days, and it still is. I am writing online as a freelancer, whenever time permits. I have joined some of the sites that you mentioned. I have also been writing st "Review Stream", writing brief reviews about a variety of topics. I find the site very enjoyable for freelance writing online.

No I do not freelance write. I have though about doing it but read that there are so many freelance writer that you do not get pay much. I also have some trouble writing what I want to say in the write words.
