I prefer the Papillion. These dogs are smart, cute and have a huge personality in such a small body. I currently have one as well as have given one to my mom and dad as a gift. Both of them are great snugglers. They are also very agile little dogs great for showing.

The papillion is a long hair dog. The name translates to butterfly and if you look at the dogs face it resembles a butterfly. They weigh between 4-10 lbs and should be no taller than 12" at the shoulder. The dog's body style should be cob which means it is longer than tall. Grooming requirements are not terrible as they are a single coated dog which makes them somewhat silker and less difficult to brush. A bath every 2-3 months and a weekly brushing are all that are typically required.

I've had several dogs over the years. I prefer smaller breeds. The White Westhighland Terrier to me is by far the best! They are very smart, easy to train , strong, and beautiful! tdemex

My favorite breed of animal is is a Red Nosed Pit Bull. Then its a German Shepard. I love the pit bulls personality, look and the smartness of them with proper training. Also when I have one it seems to keep me feeling safer. And its the same with the Shepard. Only I think that they are a tad bit meaner over all. They tend to be more one person orientated as the Pit Bull is more family orientated.

why is that if it not red nose? it does not look attractive for pitbulls what are its other nose colors?

hi scout, As of now we dont have any pet in the home but my best friend has a dog and i like to play with her.. She is German Shepherd and i like them very much.. They are brainy, loyal and nice to play with but then they are very very choosy in what they eat and would always be a headache ( atleast she is) in eating dept. she eats only what she likes and that too if you hand feed her otherwise she would go hungry whole day.

yap this dogs are very choosy when it comes to food. but they are quite nice, yap very smart as if they are used in law enforcement if they are not intelligent they are also very large you must have a large space for them.

My favorite breed of dog is a Lhasa Apso,he's a long haired dog and weighs 17 pounds. He's a great watch dog. They have a bark of a larger dog. They originated in Tibet and were used to watch monastaries.I read the history of the breed. My dog is so easy to train. He keeps me company and lays on my lap during the day .At night he sleeps with me.He's fun to play ball with.I love this breed.
