Help me with my phone

Last month I finally got my Nokia 5800 express music. It is really cool that I can brag about its features. But whenever I am using it as a modem for my laptop I usually get disconnected and I had to empty its cookies and caches. Is there a solution so that I can surf internet without interruption? Help appreciated.
