But are you already benefitting from an upturn in the economy, or are you struggling to make ends meet?

to be honest whether the recession is over or not its irrelevant as companies are not creating new jobs etc etc from my point of view I havent really had a recession as such as my business is based online which has been affected positively by the downturn but many of my friends are struggling. So to be honest I think we have a few years of pain left before we start seeing the economy for most people getting better. Once people start spending money and putting money into the economy but I think people will save and not spend thus starving business of the funds they need to kick start the economy.

Where are you living in a "cave" this is news to me everytime I pick up a newspaper or turn on the tv or radio the news is just the same "unemployment" is still at an all time high and is still climbing. Right now I'm at the employment office as I reply to your discussion and this place is "packed." Unless you are getting your news from somewhere else, the news I get don't "jive" with what you say about the economy.

I didn't realize that they had consider the recession to be over. Maybe its cause I'm still struggling quite a bit. I'm having a big problem trying to find a job. I keep moving and its not working out for me. Well I mean if I didn't have to move I probably be okay right now. I'd still be struggling to make ends meet but not as bad as I am right now. Hopefully some good starts popping up somewhere.
