Pretty simple question: What do you do when there's no interesting new discussion around? What's the sequence in which you do this?

Well, I have never had a day where there were no interesting discussions to respond to. I always end up finding something, no matter how long it takes me. I will just browse around some of the discussions started under my interests, so there I will find something suitable to respond to. I also have the "friends started" list to look at. Something may catch my attention there. So, I guess when I find no new interesting discussions my answer would be I keep looking

Okay, but aren't there times in which you're bored looking for discussions and decide to do something else?

Well, I may upload some photos or something when I get bored of trying to find discussions. Bit that rarely happens.

I will just take a brreak or I will check my intersts and se if there are interesting discussions there. Sometimes there are, and sometimes there isn't. It just all depends on the interest. There have been a lot of repeat discussions lately, and there isn't much one can say that has't bee said before. Now, it it is anew user, I will try to help them, as I was there at one time too. That is what mylot is all about is being able to help others if I can, and I know they cettainly appreciate it. I know I did when I was just strting out. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

There might be some days when there are no interesting new discussions but there are always the interesting older ones and I go and fish them out. I have a folder full of book-marked discussions that I never got round to responding to when they were first posted and I go and comment on them if they have received a lot of responses otherwise I respond. It is very, very rare that I can never find an interesting new discussion though. There is always one somewhere, 'no responses' a few pages back for example. Many discussions by the newer users are left unattended and I will land on those if friends are not posting anything that I can relate too. I can honestly say though that I can't remember the last time I couldn't find something interesting - and that is why the folder of book-marked discussions is still there. I never get round to it!

I just look until I get bored. I really should respond to comments, or even give best responses, look through older discussions of mine, etc, but I usually do not bother with this. Of course there's blogs and news to look through which I do from time to time, of course I am talking about these features on our mylot site!

When there aren't any interesting discussions, I usually do something else. I might go onto another site, read, or something like that. It's what I usually do, when I don't really find any interesting discussion to respond to, on mylot.

When there's no interesting new discussion around, usually, I often try to start new discussions. Sometimes, I may meet the situation where I can't find any duscussions that I have interests in, even if I have spent much time on looking for the proper one. Then, I tend to try mmy best to find a new topic and start a new discussion. Or, if I can't find a good topic, then I often write posts for my blogs. In a word, I am really a workaholic and I can't sit idle.

diamania hi I go from friends started to recent and new, the todays top, my interests and no responses, and among all those I do find some rather interesting discussions. Also one can always check the icons above for the latest new discussions just brought in,I often find really interesting discussions by going to internet, or foods, or health, friend, relationships. just browse along and you will be suprized at what you can find.

The best thing to do when there arent any discussions to respond is to actually start one. Maybe the discussion I start can become a hot topic! Although none have yet! But there's nothing bad in trying, anyways I'm getting paid for my activity, so I don't mind. Other than starting discussions I usually check for new and old discussions to post a response.

I'll find out whatever interesting for me while I reading newspaper, no matter how look on the discussions. I am a little bored and try never not to post anything. There might be a lot of discussions doesn't get answer and for any time I'll keep my eye open.

That's not a problem, you can always check for previous discussions that are interesting and comment on it. I'm sure there's no policy that says we are not allowed to comment on previous discussions. As a matter of fact there are discussions that are already 3 years old and yet still receive comments up to now. I'm sure you won't mind other people commenting on your discussions that you probably started 3 years ago. Personally I would like to post comments on old discussions to see if those who started are still around and still active here on mylot. Cheers!

If there's no new interesting discussion I usually look for previous discussions, just try and you'll find out that there are discussions that were started s far as three years ago and still keep on receiving posts up to now. There are a lot who complain that there seems to be no new interesting discussions but if they will look at the older discussions I'm sure they'll find interesting ones there. Not unless they already responded to it. Posting to older discussions is a way for me also to check if the person who started it is still around if i got a response to my post. Cheers!
